Alex Braña finds her inspiration mainly from ports, as she is fascinated by the stories embedded in them. Ports are often a point of departure on the journey to fulfill dreams, while simultaneously existing as the destination after the journey is complete. Feelings of hope, happiness, new beginnings and the positive side of life are reflected across her art. She uses acrylics, collage and ink in bright colors to depict her innovative ports.
