Sculpture is Elisa Bunge's way to express her spiritual path and communicate peace and harmony, inviting the audience to connect with their inner self. Bunge is inspired primarily by her daily practice of Qi Gong, a Chinese martial art that focuses on body movement, breathing, and meditation. Many positions, techniques and philosophical conceptions of this Chinese discipline manifest themselves in her artwork.
